Prayer of Love II

Having done, and again, and as much as I desired,
and as many times as I willed,
I see loss and regret only left;
all under the sun is vain.

Pure love brings forth sacrifice
burning out lusts of profits or losses.

Innocent faith attains to perfection
burning in endless truth.

Let us take hold of the line of firm hope together
looking to the infinite ladder above,

until my love for you and the creation
becomes the love for the Lord,

until my love for your soul and character
becomes accomplished in agape.

Foul lust and filthy carnality cannot be a gift of love.

I am too ashamed and afraid to admire you
in place of the Lord as I cannot but admire the Lord.

I want you to admire the Lord with me there
when I admire Him.

I will meet you there when you love the Lord;
we will live forever as one in fellowship of saints
through the body of Christ.

I am setting forth,
determined to love the Lord, colleagues,
family, brethren, and mankind, in agape,
at any time, at any place, and in anything.

Do not inflict me, my world!
I will live and die in love through Christ the Lord
at any time, at any place, and in anything.

I am love, and I will live the love,
true to myself in everlasting happiness.

I will keep my self constant
when I encounter sin.

I will live my self in the eternal love
when I face the evil one.
