Poems of Meditations

An Old Rock through Wind and Snow

Stands fast in faith
an old rock through wind and snow.

Preserves in silence
an old tree torn in a flash of wind.

You seem to forget
that we are going to our destination.

You are busy finding and making
what you should do here and now.

You seem to be unaware
that we are on board the same wagon.

You are still engaged in doing your own.

What makes you think you are not a passenger?
